I have to wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments expressed in the previous review on International Schools Review, even after only 2 years on at Shrewsbury International School. This year has seen a steady decline in staff morale due in some part to the strength of the baht against the pound... If offered a post, be very careful how your salary is quoted as the current staff will have lost close to 20% or 30% of their spending power by the end of the current academic year if things remain as they are at Shrewsbury International School and in Thailand... The Primary school at Shrewsbury International School has a fantastic supportive staff, but they need to be, as support, guidance and leadership is non-existent. The Head of Primary is very conspicuous by her absence from any contact with staff, parents or pupils. Her office is her domain and is very rarely that she is seen out and about... Many things are promised or told will happen but they are... |
