The head of The Oxford Academy spent a lot of her time hiding in her office with the door closed. You could hear her in there but she wouldn’t let you in.... The buildings are in total disrepair. Teachers refused to take their students out to play due to health concerns with the play area at The Oxford Academy. Eventually it was resurfaced (painted green) and so was very slippery. This was made worse due to the fact that the art room.... The housing varies at The Oxford Academy. Some of the apartments are reasonable, others are falling apart. It takes an extraordinary amount of time to get anything fixed.... The administrators and maids at this school and its sister school, The International Academy of Kuwait, ransacked the apartments of teachers who left the country during the 2003 conflict in Iraq. Many people.... Steps of the 4-storey Oxford Academy building were crumbling and rebar poking out of them... Classrooms at The Oxford Academy are very small especially with groups of 30 students... Apartments for The Oxford Academy are small but well-equipped. Good fridge/freezer, washing machine and separate drier, TV with some cable channels. Shower OK... |
