I teach third grade at International School of Islamabad (ISOI), and I wish to respond to... The review of International School Islamabad paints a picture more akin to an asylum for the insane rather than an academic institution, and fortunately, bears no semblance to reality... When I first started at the International School Islamabad during the week of in-service, I was very nervous and guarded, partly because I had come from a very toxic environment in my previous posting. While standing in the cafeteria line with my three year old the elementary principal... Shady hiring practices at International School Islamabad were mentioned in the review... The most risible part of the review is when the reviewer stated that teachers yell at each other across the courtyard for everyone to see. It makes International School Islamabad sound more like the set of either Fox News or the WWE Wrestling Federation. If this is indeed going on, I am pretty sure I would see it or hear about it... Many people have been working at International School Islamabad for years, under decidedly difficult external circumstances, to make International School Islamabad the best possible school for the students... International School Islamabad is not perfect. It is a very human endeavor, after all, and we are all imperfect beings. However... |
