The real strength of American Community School of Abu Dhabi is the staff and the students. The staff at American Community School of Abu Dhabi consists of a committed, hard working group of teachers that feel supported by administration and feel like they have a say in the decision making process. The students at American Community School of Abu Dhabi as a whole are just a great group of kids. American Community School of Abu Dhabi has a long waiting list, so it can be very selective when admitting students. 

The negative at American Community School of Abu Dhabi and community is that school housing is becoming more difficult. There is an opportunity to live in a villa but you will be off island and managing the ever increasing traffic in Abu Dhabi. Most of the school housing will be in apartments in the 'downtown' area that are becoming older and more run down. If you have a family and will be in need of childcare, nannies are getting more difficult to find and more expensive as well.

I would expect that the staff turnover will be huge this year at American Community School of Abu Dhabi. The school will spin this as expansion staffing. The salary package is good at American Community School of Abu Dhabi, but I would seriously look at inflation and cost of living before you......
