concur with many of the other reviewer's comments (from 2010)
on International Schools Review -
Vietnam,
but I would like to add a few tidbits....
It's
really hot in Vietnam at United
Nations International School,
except for Nov-Jan when it's dank (14 degrees and 90% humidity).
It's loud. Ubiquitous construction (and demolition), motorbike
and car horns, dogs, and roosters are the main culprits. I wish
there were a volume control so I could just dial it down
a notch....
However, with respect to teaching at
United Nations International School,
the students, teachers, local staff, and administration are all top-notch. The
student body is 20% Vietnamese (very wealthy Vietnamese),
20% Korean, and 60% everything else. They are all simply a pleasure
to teach.
