By far, my biggest challenge while working at Maple Leaf International School was discipline. Although they are smart students, they can be quite rude and unruly. The situation would be made better if the administration did something about it. Often consequences (if there were any) would be... A lot of the kids are local, and many switch over to Maple Leaf International School in grade 12 before applying to University. They do this instead of doing two years of A-Levels... Education throughout Trinidad follows the British system. Many students also apply to Maple Leaf International School because it is believed that they will get a better education than what is offered locally... |
