The students at Damascus Community School come from many different backgrounds. Some are diplomatic, others are from oil company expats, and others come from wealthy local families... I have found all of the students at Damascus Community School to be polite, friendly and respectful. I have found most of them eager to do well at Damascus Community School, and have good relations with their peers and teachers... Most of the parents at Damascus Community School are eager to ensure their child's success. These parents cross religious, political and socio-economic lines to offer their friendship and support to: our students, teachers and each other... In my experience, Damascus Community School is a school where the diplomats and wealthy local families happily befriend you. That may seem incredulous to some, but it was my experience... The Damascus Community School is overseen by the United States Embassy, here in Syria. The school is non-profit, and accredited by MSA... Administration at Damascus Community School is strong, intelligent, dedicated, and committed to improving the school. Although I did not always...
