Comments: Unfortunately,
I have to agree with almost all the reviews that have already
been written about Christopher's
School on
International Schools Review....
This
is such a shame, as St. Christopher’s
has the potential to be such a great school to work at, but
it is not. The students are wonderful. In general, they are
perfectly behaved kids who want to do well at school and have
the personality to have a little bit of fun with, as well....
The
staff also are a good bunch of hard-working people....
What
hasn’t
been mentioned before is the package at Christopher's
School – it
is....
The
major downside of Christopher's
School is
that the staff work in the shadow of Mr. G. No one seems to be
allowed to make any decisions
without his approval, and managers seem to be powerless puppets
(a phrase heard regularly in the staff room)....
There
is a climate of fear amongst staff, and the good package seems
to be held over
you: “If you don’t like it, leave”. I also
was....
