American School Pachuca has about 1,000 students in grades K – 9. It is a member of ASOMEX, a partnership of American schools in the region... The expat faculty numbered anywhere from 25-30 teachers while I was at American School Pachuca. American School Pachuca has a larger Mexican staff that teaches courses in Spanish as well... The kids at American School Pachuca are nice and the parents, for the most part, are supportive and appreciative of your efforts... I would say American School Pachuca is in the middle of the pack as far as quality. I know they are in the process of getting SACs accreditation, but it is a slow process... I began working at American School Pachuca under a lousy, arrogant, unqualified American Director... I do think American School Pachuca is a good school to go to if you are young, just out of school and looking to get 1-2 years of teaching experience...
