Comments: Miras Astana International School says it likes foreign teachers because they bring new ideas. The problem is none of the local teachers want to hear any ideas that might mean changes to the way the school works. Local management are the same. They take any ideas or suggestions for improvement as criticism and become very defensive....

It appears that for many years CIS/IB, etc. have been raising these issues and nothing changes. Miras Astana International School got new foreign teachers to talk with a consultant, and even he was cynical about any benefit coming from it as he had known the school for years and nothing he put in his reports....
