Comments: Challenges/problems
have included: many systems are not currently in place such
as getting supplies for the printers at Kaust
School in Saudi Arabia.
Items such as paper and toner are constantly running out. Smart
boards have
been on order since we arrived and have not yet shown up....
We
have a high percentage of ELL students in Saudi Arabia, and
we are struggling to meet
their needs. We work very hard at Kaust
School,
with lots of meetings to help set up the way we do things here....
There
are very few activities here on the campus at Kaust
School to
keep you occupied in your free time, and going outside the
compound can be stressful,
especially for women. The heat can be overwhelming, with temperatures
above 120 F during the summer months. There are great exercise
facilities here at Kaust
School,
however, and a new beach with wind-surfing lessons. We
hope diving lessons will be available soon and more opportunities
to access the incredible waters of the Red Sea....
As
we are a new
school, I imagine....
