Comments: The current school and HR directors at American International School of Johannesburg are not very supportive. They do not care about overseas hires and do little to support them. I’d go as far to say that both directors are on a power trip....

Most currently vacant jobs at American International School of Johannesburg are being filled by cheaper local hires whether they are competent or not, just to save money....

The current board is also making changes without regard to best educational practices. They recently upped our maximum class size from 15 to 20 without even consulting teachers....

After much discussion (from concerned parents and teachers) they agreed to give grade bands (not every classroom) assistants if their numbers were above 18....

American International School of Johannesburg is also severely cutting back on professional development and....
