Comments: While
the school building is now new, the elementary was housed in
a converted flat building while we were there. It was extremely
difficult due to very poor lighting and the fact you had 3
rooms for your class. We all made it through with humor and
great kids.
During
our time at International
School of Hyderabad,
we underwent certification from CIS and NEASC. We were not
there during the "report
writing", but were interviewed and observed by the teams.
The reports were not accurate and in many cases were out
and out lies; however, with "conditions" the school
was given its certifications. The year we were hired the
Director
also hired a Secondary Vice principal, a Curriculum Director
(Australian) and her husband (French), Transportation Director,
a Spanish teacher (Spainish) and her....
International
School of Hyderabad academics
are a joke in most ways, lacking most resources (reading books,
up-to-date math books, no clear curriculum) and I was called
in and talked
to for being "too academic" with my 5th graders. They're apparently
here to have fun....
