Comments: Work
permits = Don't count on them. Hayah
International Academy was
not on top of this issue and had to be pushed to get anything
done. One
teacher was in Cairo for 1 1/2 years before she got hers.
The
discipline system was very weak with a lack of courtesy
overall at Hayah
International Academy.
Most student achievement was well below grade-level curriculum
expectations. There was little thanks or recognition
but plenty of blame when things went wrong. The attitude was
not what you did but who you were....
Housing
was adequate and payment for rent was usually on time.
The
Hayah International Academy grounds
and buildings were very clean and maintained. The salary was
paid on time and the staff was polite and friendly.
Egypt
has much to offer in travel opportunities. The location is
great for exploring the country. Cairo is a noisy, dirty
city but is full of adventure and culture....
