It is interesting reading a lot of these recent reviews of Gulf English School Qatar as most of the staff who have posted here are people I will have worked with given the timeframes suggested, yet I can only add my experience to be completely different and largely positive...

I was not part of the management team of Gulf English School Qatar and indeed did not always agree with decisions, though I also accept that mistakes are occasionally made...

In my opinion, the underlying problem during my time was that the Gulf English School Qatar was keen to develop and improve yet... 

Within the last few years, the Gulf English School Qatar has taken steps to address the professionalism and work ethic of some members of staff but equally it has... 

I should also add that there were a number of committed and hard working staff within the Gulf English School Qatar like any other but unfortunately they... 

The Gulf English School Qatar has recently gone through the CIS accreditation process and all staff were given the opportunity to participate in this process... 

Finally, it is worth remembering when taking any job at Gulf English School Qatar or indeed anywhere in Qatar or the Middle East that this is not the UK or Australia or NZ... 

In summary, I would recommend the Gulf English School Qatar for those staff committed to quality teaching and learning who are looking to get involved with the development of a whole school...
