Comments:Foreigners are still treated as a curiosity and you have to accept the stares and photo ops! Stories about constant construction in China are true...but Jiangning, the area where British School of Nanjing is presently located has just come out of its....

My children have received a top quality education at British School of Nanjing and so far and are very happy here. It has been a great 4 years. On a downside, the British School of Nanjing site is lovely but not suitable for the serious development of Middle school numbers. Plans to move are in the pipeline and this will take the school into its next phase. The present head works hard to establish the framework needed for expansion at British School of Nanjing....

Problems with visas etc. at British School of Nanjing are to do with the constant changes made by the present PRC and not the school admin who try their best! China is amazing but often frustrating. Children are treated as very special, personal safety is excellent....
