Comments: Beijing City International School is a school that fits the Chinese Syndrome perfectly. It is trying so hard to be a real international school, unfortunately it falls short in many areas. Beijing City International School is the first international school that is owned by a Chinese nationalist as a result, it is run like such. The Board of Directors (BOD) claims that they will let Beijing City International School manage itself, but the reality is the opposite....

Aside from that, Beijing City International School is growing at a rate that is beyond its means. The BOD wants to break even faster than it previously planned. The school wants to open its doors to the IBO Diploma Program next year even though they only have 60 students in the Middle School and High School. There are maybe 1 or 2 students of DP caliber at the moment.....

The other reasons people stay at Beijing City International School because of the excellent teaching staff and nice kids. Its too bad that such a school does not see the assets it has and refuses to work hard to keep them. At the end, the school will only.....
