Comments:While Antwerp International School is not perfect - it is definitely up and coming. From the beginning of our orientation the administration was up front and honest with new teachers regarding a rough patch Antwerp International School went through a few years back. The reviews above refer to some of those tough times. to illustrate the point- Antwerp International Schooll has committed itself to protecting all teacher positions for next year- even though the tough economic times that lay ahead should dictate cuts.....

What sadly wrecks Antwerp International School is a Head who I despise for his aggressive and uncooperative approach to staff, who are not valued or consulted by him. Happily, he will be leaving at the end of 2010 and it is unlikely that Antwerp International School will be able to find anyone else who so completely lacks in interpersonal or sensible leadership skills, so I guess things could get better next academic session......
