The Al Akhawayn School of Ifrane was my first overseas posting, and I taught there for three years... The Al Akhawayn School Ifrane has an unusual setting for an international school: a small, rural town. Most other schools are located in large cities, and being in a much smaller town was quite a treat... The additional fact that Al Akhawayn School Ifrane is quite small, about a hundred students grades PreK-12, enhanced that intimate feeling of close family... The period when I was at Al Akhawayn School Ifrane was a tumultuous one, leader-ship wise, for the school... Unfortunately, I accepted a position with another school even as Al Akhawayn School Ifrane appointed a new director... The faculty I worked with at Al Akhawayn School Ifrane were almost to a man wonderful people who came in and did above and beyond for the students... Most of the students at Al Akhawayn School Ifrane were good kids, even if their parents were wealthy, and yes, there were a few of them you might not have minded if they... The medical care provided by Al Akhawayn School Ifrane was quite nice... |
