Comments: Let me start this by saying that the West and East campuses are VERY different schools in many ways. The east campus is established and has its own set of issues. I can only speak to the conditions of the 2009-2010 school year at American International School Egypt - West Campus.....

I went into the position knowing that this was the first year of the school. I have been in startup schools before and fully understand all the complications that come with such an undertaking BUT, this being said... American International School Egypt - West Campus was a total disaster!

I am not sure about this year’s supply request, but I will tell you that it was a 3 day process to get a pen last yea at American International School Egypt - West Campusr. You had to write it down on a piece of paper, get it signed by the top admin at the school, she had to give it to the supply guy and then he would walk the pen to you and you had to sign for it. They wonder why the teachers at American International School Egypt - West Campus were hoarding things....
