I will start with the good. The students at Aga Khan Dar es Salaam. They remain the best, brightest, hardest working, friendliest, and most genuine students I have ever taught... This makes me wonder what else they could have been achieved if the Aga Khan Dar es Salaam had even a shred of... The Aga Khan Dar es Salaam environment is poor: the class rooms are dirty, bare, and unpainted... Staff accommodation at Aga Khan Dar es Salaam is poor, infested with pests (especially cockroaches) and also full of mould. This is in stark contrast to... There is no professional development in Aga Khan Dar es Salaam (most teachers don't stay long enough anyway!) and in fact nobody... Many reviewers on here have mentioned that the director of Aga Khan Dar es Salaam is racist. This is true, but with the caveat that... During my years there the Aga Khan Dar es Salaam was moving from the Tanzanian local curriculum to IB. The first IB intake were universally conscientious, hard working, and intelligent at Aga Khan International School. |
