Transportation to and from the city is time-consuming and insane. The road is terrible, even worse now because Bangladesh is undertaking to make it a proper highway, instead of just a 2 lane highway. Activities in the city are scarce, partially because the school's apartments are located an hour outside of the diplomatic enclave, and partially because there is little to do in Dhaka.

The country is beautiful in places, the people are generally friendly, and the Pledge Harbor School and Sports Academy campus is gorgeous.....
