Comments: EMS International breached my contract 2 days before I was supposed to leave for Japan. They were very vague about arrival time and the school calendar. This was particularly hard because I was hired in March for a position that started in April.

Although they were willing to start the school year with a substitute, that is not an ideal situation for the kids; I worked very hard to be ready in time to get there before school started for the year. After I sent my flight details and a copy of my passport and my son's passport to EMS International, they emailed back a few days later to say they would breach contract, the reason being that they thought my picture on TIE is 5-10 years old and they found posts of me looking very different on Facebook.....
