Hi folks!
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about library media specialist positions. I'm registered with ISS but I've only had one nibble and it obviously was a bad fit for both parties.
'm willing to go many place. I have worked in small and large schools and i have experience as both a teacher and librarian. I've also got great references. I don't have international or IB experience which I know is holding me back but I feel like I must be missing something else!
Thoughts, ideas, suggestions? I'd love to get your input!
Thanks!

What do you want to know about IS/Library positions? It could really be a long post. Typically you run the library, usually by yourself, you may have an aid. At larger schools you may be part of a small team of librarians. You usually get to run the library the way you want, and youll have a good budget for the size of the school. In asia with a lack of copyright you may have a huge collection whereas in Europe most ISs hand off to the local public library a lot of the research intensive work.
IB experience really isnt an issue for a librarian, so its very unlikely its holding you back.
