Over 100 vacancies

Post by llpaz »

Hello,
The vacancies are all due to growth in the schools especially in China, that school keeps growing very fast.

Lori got us jobs with qsi (after Kuwait)and even after a difficult transitional year I still have faith in qsi.

We are transfering to another location next fall. All of the schools have a little bit different feel and flavor, but the package, supplies, and curriculum and philosophy are the same. I have to much stuff to use in my school, most of it is traditional things, however there is absolutely no pressure to teach a certain way. I have the freedom to set up my class as I see fit.

Some of the schools are growing very quickly both due to more foreign companies coming in and locals having the money and applying. At a few levels we have a lot of ESL, but they are pulled out for for at least 2 periods per day and we are not required to grade them in Cultural Studies and Science (up to age 12). Our school does have overcrowding issues, but they are building a new addition. They are not cheap, bit sometimes you have to wait for the supplies to arrive or for the building to get done. Some of the schools are getting a bit too popular and it can be frustrating if you are somewhere at a time of growth. I f you have good local admin you can get through it.

Some off the beaten track locations are good for a couple years and people want to move on. It is wise to ask about local conditions, air pollution, inflation, housing size, and commute, these can vary.
i would say that most of the openings on the website are due to growth and the openings of new schools. This is especially true in China and Kazakhstan.

Some of the outcome goals can be difficult and some of the schools may not be purpose built, but I wouldn't make that a reason to count out qsi. Lots of other school systems have similar issues. Research your locations and options.

These people are honest and pay on time. it is a transparent organization. It is a welcome change after working in the gulf for 5 years.
My kids love their school and thier teachers.
Lori is right, the insurance is awesome. We have had several people sent out this year to London and to Dubai. No problems, great care and support.
beenthere, where were you? When?
I of course have complaints, mainly too many meetings, but I have that complaint everywhere I go!
