I'm considering attending the Search Toronto Fair in January, but I'm conserned about the prospect of getting a job that pays well. Most of the schools Ive applied to are not attending. Should I be going to Boston? I have been out of the International school market for a while. Could anyone weigh in here...
Thanks
PS I have AP English, ESL and PE as teachables
Search Toronto - a good idea for an experienced teacher?
Re: Search Toronto - a good idea for an experienced teacher?
Probably not a good idea if you want to end up at a good school. Usually only a handful of decent schools show up in Toronto. Check the website to see who is attending and then go to Boston or even the Queen's Fair in Kingston. When I went a couple of years ago, there was only 1 school I thought was worth working at, and luckily we got the job. However, we were reserved in Boston just in case.
