This can be tough. I have a trailing spouse and I have been passed over for jobs because of this. We finally decided last year for my wife to get a teaching certification so we can be a teaching couple. It is more marketable that way.

The initial Visa process for Venezuela is a pain, and takes a lot of time. Documents have to be apostilled and the consulates in the US are not very helpful/ efficient.

80% Emirati kids and 20% local arab nationals. The pay they offered was 20,000 UAE but no housing allowance.

What are your thoughts on private schools in the UAE. I have recently been offered a leadership post at a private school there, and I am looking for some insight.
