From what I have heard Secondary is the place to be, apparently the Secondary Principal is very good to work with, as is the Secondary team. I have heard this from a couple of different people.
Elementary is mixed but the mixed part seems to come down to the current Elementary Principal. In saying that though I was told that people are very happy in Elementary and that it's also a great team to be part of.
Package is good, parents are good, PP is a good place to live.

Does anybody know anything about this school? There's no reviews on the paid side and doesn't seem to have been mentioned in a forum search.

Does anybody have any recent information about this school? Only one short and older review in the review section. Salary info on Search doesn't seem to be much.

I would say the better schools in HCMC are:
International School Ho Chi Minh City (PYP, MYP and DP) - Despite the ownership changes and issues surrounding that, it's still one of the best schools in HCMC, certainly it's the best IB school.
British International School - Best British curriculum.
Saigon South International School - Best US curriculum.
After those would come schools like the Australian International School, ACG International.
None of the schools in HCMC are truly not-for-profit

Just some info for you, they won't actually put you into active mode until the next school year starts.
I have just finished everything and paid the $200 only to be told that they can't put me into active mode because under the new database they can't hide teachers who are not looking for the current academic year. I thought I would get database access from the moment I paid, apparently this used to be the case, but isn't anymore.
That should give you some more thinking time before you pay.

My current school has only been authorised for a few years and only has a couple of PYP 'veterans' in it who really know their stuff. Most of the staff, myself included, the admin and owners are fairly new to PYP. This does cause a few issues. Inquiry learning isn't foreign to me as my previous school was inquiry based, just not PYP. I feel like the PYP is under developed at my current school and that I am also left to work it out for myself in many ways, which can be both a good and bad thing.
Going to PYP PD in Asia I have heard from other teachers who have been very happy with their PYP experience at their schools where the program is more developed. These schools were UWC Singapore, Australian International Singapore, ISHCMC Vietnam and ESF Discovery College HK.

PYP school experiences.
Wondering if people would share their good PYP school experiences i.e. which school, was it because the PYP coordinator was good, the staff knew and understood the program, other factors etc?
I fully understand that the PYP doesn't make a school good, however I am currently in an international PYP school, like the program and want to stay teaching in it. I'm looking to move on from my current school in future and would like to hear about other peoples experiences. I'd like to stay in Asia, however I'm open on where I go.
