Hello ISR and members,
I applied to one of the International School in Naple, Italy. They replied my job application. They want me to fly over to Naple for an Interview.
Could anyone please tell me more about how the hiring process goes?
Is it worth to travel to Naple for an Interview?
What is their pay arrange?

Are they paying for the flight and accom?! If not, I wouldn't! Sounds weird, have they tried Skyping?!

I'm paying for my ticket and accom.
They only hire people in Italy, this is why they don't do skype interview.
they want me to call them after I arrived to Italy. The administrator told me this:
" I can hardly wait to meet with you. I am very hopeful we can get you onto our staff. Since we hire American teachers, most of our teachers transfer after 3 years because their spouse transfers. "

Well they do hire people who arent Italy, becuase they are interviewing you and you are not in Italy. What they are really saying is they only do interviews in person.

I wouldnt interview with a school that insisted on F2F interview on my own dime. Thats why we have fairs and Skype.
