One year online certificate programs

Hello all,
We are looking for an accredited online one-year, affordable leadership certificate program for a group of teachers transitioning into mid-level leadership positions. What would you recommend?

Define what you mean by "accredited"? Accredited by who? Do you mean a government entity such as a DOE, or MOE (such as a UK NQ)? Some organization such as WASC, or an institution such as a UNi, or do you mean an organization like PTC, ACSI, ICLE, etc. that has a printer but has a realm of recognition among its association?
Define affordable? Whats the budget?
Clarify Online? Is that the only service medium your interested in, meaning they have to have an established LMS system. What about a program where a provider does F2F delivery on a weekend or a summer program? What about travel?
Define "Certificate"? As above are you looking for a credential from some DOE/MOE, a qualification from some Uni or Organization, or do you mean some pretty bit of paper that has a realm of association attached to it?
Just how long is a "year"? 12 months along a prescribed sequence of instruction and seminar, where the assessment is based on participation and attendance? 15 months as above but with some form of individual capstone? 9-10 months coinciding with the AY assessed through a culmination of papers? A series of 1-2 month periods over multiple summers integrating portfolios assessment? Some combination of above?
Clarify "mid level leadership" typically junior leadership appointments/assignments as subject, and grade leaders as well as HODs?
Describe the candidates. How big is the group and what do they come with? Is is a couple or a handful? Do they have Masters qualifications? Are they professional edus? What role will they have together as a group, do you want them trained as a cohort of individually?
What role is the IS and leadership going to have? Will the candidates incorporate their learning in the IS in a practical approach or will it be more academic (conceptual and theoretical)? What role if any will current IS leaders hav, are they going to supplement the training with hands on implementation or in X months do they just provide the IS with their certificates?
Aside from the queries in your post:
What are your lines and veils? Are there lines you dont want to be involved in like anything with a religious angle? Are they more veils where you dont care if the organization has a particular affiliation as long as the training isnt preachy? What do you want them to learn? A more generalized program that touches on a broad skill set or more specialized along fields like soft business skills including team management or more education like curriculum design?
What is your position on portability? Does this training have to have external utility and be able to move with the candidates at some point should they leave your IS? Would you prefer a program that is really only valuable internally within your IS? Some hybrid combination?
Does the training need to have credits attached to them that could be used for a degree qualification (such as Uni. credits) or does it need to have or be able to qualify for CEU credits such as for various accreditation purposes?
What degree of maintenance are you comfortable with? Is this a one time training program, when the candidates are done, theyre done or is a period of validity with renewal and required PD something you are open to?
How much of the above does the IS really care about? Why is the IS wanting this? Whats the purpose? Are they creating a curriculum and they want assurance these junior leaders have a basis for what they are putting together? Is this a bureaucratic issue, where all that really matters is having a piece of paper in a folder that someone isnt going to sneer at?
