Does anyone know anything about Cairo English School? They are advertising an opening for ESL/EFL via CIS. I haven't heard anything good or bad about this school. Their website says they are British, and they are located in Mirage City, New Cairo which seems to be quite far out of Cairo.

I really wanted to apply to Cairo American College, but they seem to only be looking for a part-time ESL/EFL. Unfortunately I have not yet amassed great wealth through teaching so I need to be full-time.

The school is part of the ESOl school system. They are online at www.esolonline.com. I don't know much about the school other than it is not in Cairo, but is very close to Heliopolis/Sheraton area. The building is very new and very big, and the students are "typical" Egyptian students under a British curriculum. It seems like a nice school but be very aware that teaching in Egypt/Middle East is very different than teaching in America or the UK. The students are very talkative and very social. Most students are ESL and ELL so you have plenty of work to do.

The school provides bus service to pick you up from the school furnished apartments and take you to school. The bus ride is around 30 minutes to an hour depending on where you live. It really isn't far from Heliopolis/Sheraton.
