Dear all,

I have been teaching MYP and DP (and even a bit of PYP) Visual Arts in several IB schools for 12 years now. A job oppurtunity has come up in a new school close to my home, for an IMYC and DP Visual Arts teacher. Does anyone have experience with teaching IMYC in general and the Arts in particular and could you give me your opinion on the program?

Does anyone have experience with both programs (IB and IMYC) and could you give me some comparison and pros and cons of the IMYC?

As far as Art goes MYP and IMYC are pretty much the same in the sense that their is a certain degree of generic prescription, but its small and easily done over the course of a year. IMYC doesnt have the stress of project and E-portfolio or moderation in examination. If it werent for meetings you could do IMYC and not know your doing IMYC.
