Applying again to the same reposted vacancies

The same vacancies at the same schools are sometimes posted at Search Associates again and again only a few months or even a few weeks apart. Can I apply again...and again? Or, would it be best to just follow up on my most recent application with a pleasant inquiring email?

Follow up with your original application. Either they arent interested in you, they dont know if you are still available or their selection and screening process is fragmented. Regardless a new application does nothing more than create more documents to manage. Email the contact and ask if you can be considered for the most recent posting.

Remember that they may have had more than one teacher in a subject leave, so a simple follow up is always worth a try.

I would apply again, always with the assumption it is a new position and that CVs were not carried over from the last position vetting. Mention that you also applied for the previous posting...
