Inclusive Classroom or Special Education courses?
Re: Inclusive Classroom or Special Education courses?
Both--it depends on what you teach. Overseas, technically all classrooms are "inclusive" in that very few schools do any type of pullout or alternative curriculum. Generally, all students are in all classes--even with learning support and EAL staff, teachers have to manage the needs of students and sometimes without a lot of support due to pretty small learning support staff in schools. If inclusive class courses will A) actually provide training that you can actually use in your teaching practice and B) provide talking points that you can back up with your practice, that's a good thing.
Response
Special Education. It doesnt require an explanation and you can always describe it in an interview as inclusion or whatever you need it to be. Inclusion may not be self evident during the screening phase, and it will be harder to spin it as anything too much outside of inclusion.
