What's the longest number of years you've ever stayed at one school? What made you decide to leave?

How about the shortest? What prompted the switch?

Considering changing schools after 3 years, though I suppose I could stand to stay for 2 more, getting me to a respectable 5 years in one place. Would like to hear from the masses though. (Nice easy question for you!)

One (temporary contract) to six (ready to move on).

One to five.

Three to twelve.

5 - wanted a different experience
10 - had lots of different experiences, but 10 years....
2 - school wasn't a great fit for me

2- Was young, thought international teaching would be temporary, and had "wanderlust"

5- Turned middle aged, found a local partner, was comfortable in the country and the school environment (which can be hard to get both).
