TIEonline as a supplement to SA?

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been covered. I've tried searching, but came up with nothing.
After 3 years with my school, it's time to move on. My wife will be fully certified by the end of this school year and we are hoping to move up a Tier.
I got my current IS job from TO after being rejected by SA due to trailing spouse and two dependents. I'm about to start the hunt and I'm planning on signing up with SA (for their database, not the fairs) and I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to renew with TO as well. I'm currently registered with Schrole (unpaid) and have gotten interviews through them, but nothing fruitful. I've also got a lot of interview requests from Linkedin, but mostly from lower tier schools.
Thoughts?

why not? it's free and gives you a sort-of database. it will expand your search somewhat, though i think it's populated with so-called lower tier schools and also some that maybe don't have the budget to link up with SA and pay their "head hunting fees."
i certainly wouldn't use it to replace SA or Schrole, but complement? yes.
best of luck!

@vandsmith
TIE isnt free, its USD$29 at the lowest price point, you are confusing TIE with TES.
@McTeacher
Its USD$29 for a year, what you will mostly find are going to be lower tier ISs which you specifically state you want to move up from, and courtesy reposts of vacancies from some upper tier ISs. Its not at the same cost of investment (by an order of magnitude) as SA is.
I would register only one of you with SA, which gives you the same access to the database and then use it to apply directly to ISs with your spouse, take the coin you save on that and register for TIE.
In addition I would also familiarize yourself with TES as its a free resources though heavy on BSs. Also look into CIS they have a similar application and registration process as SA but they are free. They are partners with the LON mega fair, though they tend to be EU heavy on ISs.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.
I'm on TES as well
FYI - TO has raised their rates to $39 for the basic web only package

TieOnline offers a red star package, usually starting in October for about two weeks. You get a year for 29 bucks.

@SJ
TIE offers the same deal to attendees at fairs if you enroll at the fair.

@PG. Interesting. I didn't know that and didn't see it in Bangkok a few years back. Maybe it's new?
