Curious what success teachers out there have had getting hired by schools when they have three children, including situations when you are not a teaching couple.

Good question. And I'll add to it: two kids, one parent a seasoned teacher with overseas experience and the other parent with a teaching license but no classroom experience beyond a lot of subbing.
Any sense how the "average" school would look at this couple?

It would be easy for you to get hired in Kuwait or with QSI. Go on the internet and look up QSI schools. Be leary of any of the schools in Kuwait. Most have many internal problems.

We got our first overseas job in 1999 with three kids when we vaguely offered to pay for one at the job fair. We got to the school and I ended up do work in kind (creating the school's first webpage, created their computerized high school report card etc) and we didn't pay a dime. The second school we went to was a QSI school. Yes, they take up to 4 children but you need to be wary of where they send you. So it can be done. Good luck with your search.
