What is the quickest way to acquire teacher certification for any state in the USA? I have a B. Education, M. Education and am certified to teach in Canada and the UK but need a USA certification apparently.

Teach now does what it says on the tin. Took me 10 months from application to receiving a DC licence.

You dont need Teach Now or other ACP program, you are already credentialed.

How fast does fast need to be?
Your challenges occur at 4 points:

1) NACES evaluations: Every state requires one of these. It is an evaluation of the equivalency of your foreign degree and license. A number of companies provide this service with various features. Some of them have express service that when combined with EMS delivery can be very fast.
2) CRB clearance: This is the longest as a foreign applicant you will have to have fingerprint cards mailed to you, have your finger prints rolled at a local police or constable precinct then have the cards mailed back. then the cards are scanned into a computer, and the CRB review conducted. It can take months to have this done.
3) Experience/Transcript Verification: Depending on the time of year and the relationship you have with your Uni and previous employers this can take some time.
4) Application processing: Some DOE are grossly understaffed and application processing can take weeks or months.

The fastest is going to be Hawaii. While you have to complete an NACES evaluation the strongest benefit is that you dont have to complete any PRAXIS testing and most importantly there is no CRB requirement. Once you have the NACES, the rest is just an application and support documentation (experience), and if you need to you can forgo the experience verification and obtain the entry level (initial) credential, and then transition/apply for the professional (standard) credential when you have the experience verification if you need to wait for your previous employer to verify your experience.

In this case your degree will satisfy the basic skill requirement, your major will satisfy your content proficiency requirement. Your PGCE, etc. will satisfy the EPP/ITT requirement.

Apply to HI, and skip the NACES evaluation, they might just accept it and issue you some form of credential, and itwont cost you anything to find out until they have evaluated your application. Its the best route to getting something done in a few weeks. You can until then list the credential on your application as "Pending".
