We have postponed looking for jobs until this Fall 2016. My husband's current job has changed into something that will, hopefully, look very positive on his resume so we wish to sit tight for this go-round. I read that counseling positions come up earlier than others. What should be our target date to be ready with our resumes/websites, etc this Fall?

Counselors arent recruited significantly earlier that other ITs unless the appointment is more leadership than usual (IE.. a small IS with a principal and a counselor) in which case recruiting would be at the time other leadership vacancies are recruited.
