I have not had to search for a job overseas in about 5 years and have been able to use contacts instead. IF I decide to move on from my current job when is the latest I can sign up with Search etc. Also is TIE etc currently a good option? I have heard from many people that the sign up dates are earlier than they used be and that many people are getting hired outside of fairs. What is the CURRENT best way to attack the job search besides hitting up my contacts. Thanks for any advice.

Each ISS or Search fair has its own deadlines. We attended the ISS Bangkok fair last year and I think we had to be registered sometime in November. I used to worry about the type and quantity of schools that attended the fair I was thinking about going to but I realize now that if you go with a known agency at a good time then the jobs will be there. Personally I don't believe that the big schools have their positions filled prior to the fair.
