PM Function lll

Wow, really? Deleting rather than responding. You may wish to re-evaluate this policy or ask someone else in the chain of command their opinion.

Hi. I guess I'm going out on a limb here but is it just me or did the last thread where I very politely asked about the future of the PM function on this site disappear after I bumped it this morning? If I am missing then I humbly apologize for the rest of this post.
Of course I also asked 2 weeks ago or so WHY it was suspended/turned off in the first place but that's a bridge too far I guess.
So, it would be greatly appreciated by me (and I would assume by other posters) if we could get some type of feedback or clarification from the admin about the PM function. If we can get some transparency on the issue then I promise not to keep bringing it up.
I have been a member and paid supporter of this site and contributor to this forum for many years. I have also referred many other people to the paid side and to this forum over the years. I am not an agent provocateur nor am I trying to impugn the credibility of this site. I have to say though that I don't believe that simply deleting reasonable but inconvenient threads sends the type of message to the int'l teaching community that you want to send.
Please respond to my questions and I will leave the subject alone.

THANK YOU FOR OFFERING TO DISCONTINUE POSTING THIS OVER & OVER UNTIL YOU GET AN ANSWER TO WHICH YOU FEEL YOU ARE ENTITLED. I SUGGEST YOU TRY WRITING THE MAJOR RECRUITERS AND DEMANDING AN ANSWER FROM THEM. I THINK YOU KNOW WHAT THAT WILL GET YOU. YES, I UNDERSTAND WE ARE A COMMUNITY OF TEACHERS BUT THERE ARE DECISIONS THAT WE MUST MAKE WITH OUT CONSULTING YOU.
WE HAVE SAID IN A PREVIOUS POST THAT THE FEATURE IS TURNED OFF DUE TO NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FROM USERS WHO FELT THEY WERE BEING HARASSED BY OTHER USERS. WE WILL TURN THE FEATURE ON WHEN THE TIME COMES TO DO SO. I HAD THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A WEEK. CIRCUMSTANCE AND SITUATIONS NOW MAKE THAT IMPOSSIBLE. I'M SORRY, I AM NOT AT LIBERTY TO GO INTO DETAIL.
