I am interested in seeking an administration position. I have not yet taught in an international school but have had nearly 20 years in independent schools. What do you recommend would be the best method to connect with schools? Thank you!

Whats your resume, are you already an administrator?

I would start by looking at what relationship and connections you may already have in your current schools network, or if you have any sister school relationships with your current school.

The next step is get one of the premium agencies (Search Associates or International School Services) and one of the listing agencies (TIE, Joy Jobs, etc). Admin hires for upper tier schools start in October/November and up to a year in advance. Though you see positions this time of year at schools as well.

I would email and express your interest, as well as watch the websites and join Search and TIEonline.
