American Teachers Teaching British Curriculum?

My husband and I are just starting our international careers. We each have 15 years experience in NY and TX, and our Masters. We're both elementary. Up to now, I've been avoiding all listings with British curriculum. Was this wise? Will they even consider American teachers? Is the British curriculum really that different that we couldn't adapt? I'd love to hear what you've witnessed or done on this topic.

Ello,
As long as your not teaching IGCSE or 6th form, the British national curriculum is very congruent to a generalized US curriculum. You can also easily apply for QTS, giving you the equivalent of a British teaching license.
