Qatar - Wedding certificate (visa)

Hi,

I have been offered a fantastic job in Qatar. I need to attest/legalize all of my documentation including my wedding certificate. Most of our documents have been attested/legalized by the Qatari embassy in the UK as the documents were issued in the UK. However, I married my wife in India, so the wedding certificate needs to be attested by the Qatari embassy in India. Is there anyway around this, as I live in the UK and do not have the time/money to be going to India to attest/legalize a document. I have asked a UK registrar about getting married in the UK, however, he has confirmed that I will not be able to do this as the wedding in India is recognised as a legal married in the UK.

Regards
Godfather

Can the Indian embassy attest it?

It could be couriered to India for you. You probably don't need to be present for it to be checked. Although I recognize you may not want a valuable document in the post.
