Does anyone know if Jalan is a town or city ?
Are there grocery stores and pharmacies there ?
It is really difficult to find any information about this place besides some Google photos.

Try searching for it as Jalan Bani or Jalan Bani Bu Hassan. There's a suq there where you'd be able to buy most things, but it's still a fairly remote town, I think.
