AISJ is an interesting school. It is the second best school in Jeddah, the first (in my opinion) being Conti. The package is decent, the kids are not bad, but it has been a soap opera over the past few years. The superintendent, Dr. English, was dismissed and there is a new super this year. (read about it on the paid side).

Housing is on Saudia Compound, an older compound. When I stayed in there as a visitor, it was ok. I hear that some teachers are not as happy and that there apartments are below level. Saudia is definitely a "tired" compound.

People seemed happy with the package. While not great, they were able to save money.

If I was looking for a position, I would giive AISJ a look, but would definitely kick the tires and get in touch with some existing staff.
