From everything I read, Caribbean teaching is low on cash, high on lifestyle (sun, surf, etc). Many things are imported and costly. Salaries are not the highest.

That said, had a friend who was at Carole Morgan (Dominican Republic) who quite liked the lifestyle. Didn't make a ton of $$, but that wasn't why he went.

Seems to be a fair amount of reviews on the paid side of Caribbean schools. Have you checked them out?

I have feiends at Carole Morgan and they like it. Good school and probably one of the best, if not the best, salaries in the Carribean.
