Hey International Teaching Wanderers....

Anyone have current information on the international schools in Azerbaijan? I've already read about the QSI school (on here) and it gets bad reviews, so no need to mention that one again, I won't be contacting them!

ISS has current vacancies for a school called The European Azerbaijan School. I can't find reviews on it, so I'm looking for anyone who could shed some light on it. The pay package seems good, but is it?

There is another school there called The International School of Azerbaijan that looks like a top notch place. Again, it lacks reviews.

Also, my husband and I are both wondering about how safe it is to live/travel there.

I've heard good things about TISA, seems to have a good rep. I definitely want to go to their presentation at the fair.

If you search for Azerbaijan expat life on google you will find very mixed reviews of living in Baku. Pretty sure the pay and packages are good there because they need to be, as Baku isn't near the top of most peoples places to live.
