My husband and I are a teaching couple..... we both health and physical education - certified pre kindergarten - 12th grade (US). My question is: how difficult will it be for us to find teaching jobs since we are in the same field and only a few slots for PE teachers at each school?

If you are both willing to coach multiple sports your value goes up greatly. I was at a large Asian school with two couples just like you. You may have to be more flexible with location, particularly at the start.
