Hi-

What areas are good to live near the International School of Kuala Lumpur, Melawati location?

It doesn't have to be really close but somewhere we could drive only to work and the rest of the time is spent walking or taking the transit to restaurants, cafes, etc.

We are a young energetic couple and would love to live in an active area.

Thanks!

You might as well be close enough to walk to school. It's not too far from stuff. Use the car to drive to the reservoir or frim or large parks when you can. The problem in KL makes something's that are just across the highway inaccessible unless you have a car

Not too many people live in Melawati. If you want to walk to school, your housing options will be very limited. Melawati is very quiet with not much going on. The recent trend has been for people to live downtown near the Twin Towers and commute to work - up to you. Traffic can be brutal sometimes. There is a highway that quickly connects the school to most of the other residential areas. The best thing to do is to write to teachers at that campus to get the latest trends. Desirable housing locations have changed over the years.
